Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.” Now there-fore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.
Prayer of David from: I Chronicles 29:12-13

Dear Friends in Christ,

Amid difficult and trying times in Haiti and in Mexico, we have again seen the goodness of our loving Father over our Brothers and Sisters who live and serve our Savior in each country. We praise and thank God for this!

We are blessed and excited to share of God’s faithfulness in the provision for Pastor Santos and Sister Fini last month. Through you, He provided abundantly so that we were able to not only purchase the milking machine for them, but we will be helping them set up a nice barn area for using the machine. Thank you!

Pastor Santos and Sister Fini came to visit us this last week! What a joyous reunion we had! We took them to visit a local dairy that uses the same milking machine to milk their cows. They demonstrated how to use it for Pastor. Thank you to Holy Cow Creamory, Jenn and Tom, for hosting us and showing Pastor Santos and Fini the machine being used and your nice dairy set-up. Time there was very helpful for them.

We thoroughly enjoyed the long overdue visit with Pastor Santos and Fini. We invited our family and a few friends for a wonderful evening of fellowship. Having Santos & Fini with Lussade & Yanick, was a great blessing! They all had a big part in our children’s lives as they were growing up and working on the mission field with us. Our children deeply love and appreciate both of these couples. Pastor Santos was a part of some of our children’s weddings and even baptized several of them. Yanick, Lussade’s wife, kindly prepared a wonderful Haitian meal for everyone. All this gave us the idea that we would like to have Pastor Santos & Fini come back so that we can invite others of you from our area to come and visit with them. Though their visit was short, we were blessed and encouraged to have the special time together! For us this was truly a taste of what God has in store for us in Heaven.

Lussade and his family already know Pastor Santos because he went to Haiti with some of our children years ago. Though Santos speaks Spanish and the Haitian people speak Creole, he was able to preach and share the gospel through interpreters. He loved and shared the gospel with many people, and everyone who met him loved him. Of course, Pastor was touched to meet so many wonderful Believers there.

The school in Haiti is doing well, the children have taken their final tests. Though their school year is also coming to an end, they will continue Bible lessons and classes through the summer so that the children, teachers, and cooks will still receive a meal each day. The teachers share Bible lessons and it is a scaled-down school day for the children. We want it to be a fun time, they do some crafts and since we continue to pay our teachers through the summer, we might as well continue classes.

Nady sent us a few pictures of some of the schoolchildren so that you can get to know them a little better. He also included a little information about their families. We thought this may be a good way for you to get to know the children more personally. These sweet little ones are so adorable, fun-loving and full of life, they are such precious little souls. Please pray for them and their families. The numbers align with the numbered pictures:

  1. Loudjini & Neissa Louis Pierre are sisters whose parents, Louis & Mezmene, are farmers.
  2. This is Clerme Michterlina, her father Jean-Robert is a farmer and her mother sells goods in the market.
  3. These are the five good friends in this school, Nelson, Jean, Vileus, Thelor & Estimable.
  4. Nerlande & Nerlie are sisters who behave very well in the Pre-K3 class.
  5. Jefter is a very intelligent student, his parents Titeur and Osita are both farmers.
  6. Pheton is a very smart student. His mother, Feline sells in the market, and his father, Joseph, is a taxi driver.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and for-ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24-25
