November 2021

Dear Friends in Christ,
November was a wonderful month, we are grateful to God for His love, care and protection.
Last month we asked you to pray for Woodsaidmie. This month, while still in casts, we saw her excited and happy as she took her first steps ever. Praise Jesus! Please continue to pray for her future surgeries to be successful. Thank you.
This month, we gathered items and partially filled 135 gift bags for the school children. To make it possible for the bags to hopefully reach the children by Christmas, we took them on to Ft. Pierce to go on the mission plane. While there, MFI provided a dress for each girl and a short set for each boy which finished filling these precious gift bags. We are looking forward to seeing the children when they receive these fun bags!
The week before Thanksgiving, once again, we attended the National Bible Bee, sponsored by The Shelby Kennedy Foundation. This year it was in Covington KY, which is a wonderful location since the Ark and Creation Museum are close by. The BB was a huge success, the children did excellent jobs reciting hundreds of Bible verses. The seniors memorized almost 1,000 verses this year. Last year, because of covid, the BB was not able to meet to compete. This year was filled with extra excitement. The children gathered all over the hotel, singing and playing games. It was a truly wonderful experience! And all the children understand that they all are winners with the amount of Scripture they have learned. We are blessed and humbled that Shelby’s testimony has been used to encourage thousands of young people to spend time in God’s Word, studying and memorizing. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
Several weeks into November, Lussade was finally able to get food and supplies, including backpacks to the children. Praise the Lord! The roads have been so bad with violence that it had not been safe for him to travel. Please keep Lussade and his family in your prayers, for God’s hands of protection around them.
On the 21st of Nov., 2 of the 17 missionary hostages were released. The 15 other dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ remaining in captivity have been held hostage for over a month now. Please continue to pray for the release of these Christians.
We pray the Lord’s peace, protection and provision over you and your families as you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ this month. May you keep your eyes focused on Him.
In His love,
