Dear Friends in Christ,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to obtain an inheritance
which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away,
reserved in heaven for you,
who are protected by the power of God through faith
for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

~ 1 Peter 1:3-5 ~
The move to our property has turned out to be a lot of work. Things are taking longer than we had anticipated. This is partially because we are doing most of the work ourselves to help cut the costs. Our guesthouse, which has been moved to our property, is now almost ready for our family to move in. We had the drywall repaired and we touched up the paint on walls and baseboards. New floors were laid in the main living areas. This week the permanent power and the air conditioning were connected. We are building a deck which should be completed this week Lord willing. Then we will move in. Once this home we are living in now is empty, we need to disassemble it and move it to the property as well.
Several Bible schools took place in Reynosa this month. Pastor Isidro and Sister Flory’s church, took teams of teachers into poor colonias to minister the gospel to children and their families. Many children attended these street Bible schools. Often their parents come with them to watch what is happening, which gives the ministry team opportunities to share God’s love with them also.
Once Eliezer arrived back home with his family, the Lord began to work in his heart about his future. Growing up and seeing how hard his dad works as a pastor he had always felt like he didn’t want to be in ministry. Now God seems to be telling him differently. After much prayer and “wrestling with the Lord” he has decided to go to seminary. He asked us to pray with him for the Lord’s directions, where to attend seminary, and all the details that will have to be worked out. We are very excited for him. He truly is a loving and caring man of God and we believe the Lord has a special plan for Eliezer’s life. Please keep him in your prayers.
Pastor Santos and Sister Fini are doing well in Nava. The dry, hot, weather has been hard for everyone to deal with. Please keep our brothers and sisters in Christ on your hearts as they struggle through this season with very little shelter and protection from this heat!
Lussade has done more work on his home. The guest rooms he is building for housing ministry teams are coming along. The Lord has provided so that we were able to send more money this month to help him towards completing this project. Lussade’s daughter Stephania wants to go to Medical School to become a doctor. The tuition is $2,750 a year. She will need to complete 5 years. Please pray that the Lord would provide for this need.
Micah began school at San Antonio College this month. He is excited about moving forward in another phase of his education.
Our move has kept us very busy. We hope to be able to report next month that we are living at our property with both homes there as well. Please pray with us as we work towards this goal. We are looking forward to being settled in and our life going “back to normal”. We miss our time in Nava and look forward to being there again on a monthly basis.
We are very grateful for your love, support, and prayers on behalf of our family and O.S.M. May God pour out His blessings on you and your families.
Because of Christ,
The Kennedy Family
