Dear
Friends in Christ, |
|
Once
again we write to tell you how blessed we
are by such an amazing God who has proven
Himself faithful to us in every time of need. |
|
Our
son Micah has been interested in flying for
some time and was excited when God provided
the way for him to take his first flying
lesson. The flight instructor was a very
kind man who let Micah fly most of the time.
Ken watching from the ground, was probably
just as excited as Micah was flying the plane. |

As
many of you know from our prayer e-mails,
Shelby took a break from chemo-therapy. We
took her to a doctor in Tulsa, Oklahoma named
Dr. Joel Robbins. Dr. Robbins recommended
us trying radiation therapy along with a
diet plan he gave us. We spent a total of
2 weeks in Oklahoma and thoroughly enjoyed
it. Dr. Robbins and all of his staff are
strong Christians and were very kind to us
our whole stay. Please continue to keep Shelby
in your prayers. She has lost a significant
amount of weight, so we are working hard
on getting that back up. |

Many
of you may remember in our last newsletter
we mentioned O.S.M.'s financial support was
low. Praise the Lord, the response was a
blessing and has given us peace of mind at
a time we really need it. Pastor Santos'
monthly support is now secure and the schools
in Haiti are taken care of for the time being.
We were even able to catch up on a few missed
paychecks. The Lord is so faithful to provide
even above what we had asked. We are so grateful
for each of you for the outpouring of love
to our family through this difficult time.
What a mighty God we serve!! |

"Heartily" is
the perfect word to describe the work that
took place in the Dorcas House this month.
It resembled a sewing factory with busy hands
measuring, cutting, and sewing curtains for
the John 3:16 Church. God has provided an
expert seamstress to give weekly sewing classes
to the ladies. Not only is the Dorcas House
used for sewing, but we also meet there for
our weekly ladies' Bible study. |
|
The
vegetable gardens are green and growing.
Several families are enthusiastically caring
for their plots, anticipating an abundant
harvest. Working with these families is giving
us an opportunity to build deeper friendships. |
|
Pastor
Santos and the John 3:16 Church have been
reaching out to evangelize a new "colonia",
Villa Nueva. Recently the whole church spread
through the streets inviting everyone to
a weekend of services. The Word of God was
preached and the church in Nava is growing. |
|
We
continue to be blessed by your faithful prayers
and financial support. |
